Why Empowered Practitioner

One of the hardest things in our field is the sexual stigma often associated with massage. Hearing things like massage parlor, happy endings, and masseuse really grates on me!

But the truth is, there are people actively searching for these things.

As massage therapists, we need to be aware of this reality and take steps to protect ourselves!

In so many cases, massage schools don't prepare us for the sexual advances we WILL encounter in our line of work.

I wish my school had prepared me more – I wish I had been more confident when I graduated. BUT I wasn't, and because of this I've made it my personal mission to help other therapists gain that confidence!

My goal for students upon completion of this course is to walk away being less of a target. Not just feeling like less of a target, but actually being less of a target.
